About This Tour
Granville Island is "a magical escape within the city" and most people visit the Public Market - it's supported by locals year round and has been enjoyed by millions of visitors since it opened in 1979.
But wait! There’s SO much more to explore on this 30 acre reclaimed area, that I'd love to introduce you to! Let me show you some lesser known areas and share some stories about Granville Island. Is it even an island? Does anyone live on it? I can’t wait to share these answers and more with you!
There are over 300 makers working out of independent studios, and producing incredible works from many mediums. This tour is a walking tour to visit different studios, parks, distilleries, shops, parks and theatres that are located outside of the Granville Island Public Market.
If you choose to do wine, beer or spirit tastings they do require people to be of the legal drinking age in BC which is 19. If you prefer to substitute these stops, please ask!

“Tracy provided so many awesome recommendations.”
Tracy is absolutely amazing! She was an awesome guide who really knows and loves her city of Vancouver. She was very flexible on where we went and knew so much about the history and architecture of the city. She took us to some off-the-beaten path locations to really soak up the feel of the city. She was super helpful on how to get around on transit and provided so many awesome recommendations for places to eat. I'm very grateful to Tracy for her wonderful hospitality.

“If you are looking for an "infotainment expert" to help you enjoy Vancouver before or after your cruise to Alaska, Tracy Volb will exceed your expectations.”
My wife and I with four other couples visited Vancouver for a few days before taking a Princess cruise to Alaska. My wife worked with Tracy to create a plan for us before our Tour with Tracy and it worked out great! We visited Olympic Village, Yaletown, Fairview, Kitsilano Granville Island. Tracy was so great at sharing the history of Vancouver and how the city has changed through the years. She also pointed out the architecture of the buildings so that we could better appreciate the many styles that make Vancouver so beautiful.
I Icould share so much more, but if you are looking for an "infotainment expert" to help you enjoy Vancouver before or after your cruise to Alaska, Tracy Volb will exceed your expectations. It is clear she loves Vancouver and sharing her knowledge with visitors.
