About This Tour
Join me on an exciting 7-hour journey exploring Vancouver on foot and take a passenger ferry to the popular Granville Island along the way. We'll check out several neighbourhoods and the picturesque waterfront, as I unveil the city's rich history and modern development to you. It's going to be a fun and informative - Here’s the scoop:
I'll meet you at your hotel lobby or the Waterfront Station to kick off our exploration. Depending on your interests, we can tailor our route to cover the neighbourhoods of Gastown, Coal Harbour, Yaletown, Granville Island, the West End, Stanley Park and Central Downtown.
Our adventure typically begins in Gastown, the birthplace of Vancouver, where you'll witness the iconic Steam Clock—a favourite among photographers and visitors. Next, we'll marvel at the modern high-rises of Coal Harbour along the vibrant Burrard Inlet from Canada Place before making our way to Yaletown, a converted warehouse district with a diverse restaurant scene.
We will make our way to Granville Island —accessed by a delightful passenger ferry ride on the waters of False Creek- where you can immerse yourself in art studios, hyper-local shopping and the Public Market.
We can enjoy a stroll along the world-renowned Seawall beside the charming West End to English Bay Beach, and check out Stanley Park and I’ll show you where the Locals hang out and soak up the amazing beauty of a 1,000 acre urban park.
The last destination area is Central Downtown, and I will share my Top Tips for you for restaurants and dining options. Vancouver is a Foodie City and you must maximize every bite while you are here. I’m happy to return you to your hotel, or leave you at a Happy Hour with directions to return to your Hotel at your leisure.
I can’t wait to share this unforgettable introduction to Vancouver's best neighbourhoods with you. It’s a perfect way to start your visit and get to know Vancouver better!

“At the end of the day, she felt like a life long friend.”
I can’t recommend Tracy enough! I sent her a list of requests: show us a mix of historical and contemporary Vancouver; work in some good food; find some local art to buy; and get a Vancouver Starbucks mug. She hit them all, even going out of her way to find us the elusive mug!
She has a great way of touring, sharing lots of information, making us laugh, and taking breaks when needed. At the end of the day, she felt like a life long friend. We can’t wait to visit Vancouver again and have Tracy show us more of her wonderful city.

“Tracy provided so many awesome recommendations.”
Tracy is absolutely amazing! She was an awesome guide who really knows and loves her city of Vancouver. She was very flexible on where we went and knew so much about the history and architecture of the city. She took us to some off-the-beaten path locations to really soak up the feel of the city. She was super helpful on how to get around on transit and provided so many awesome recommendations for places to eat. I'm very grateful to Tracy for her wonderful hospitality.
